Jeffrey Woods, more commonly known as Jeff the Killer is one of the token characters in the creepypasta community. He is the main protagonist of the story "Jeff The Killer". Jeff was once a regular 13-year-old boy but turned into one of the most known killers of all time.

Jeff has pale, unnaturally white skin, with dark circles around his vacant black eyes. He has unruly black hair and blood-splattered T-shirt. He has one distinct feature, a permanent grotesque smile carved into his face, which gives him a twisted and unsettling appearance.
Jeff's personality can be described as deranged, sadistic, and murderous. He is often portrayed as a mentally unhinged and violent character, driven by a desire for revenge against those who wronged him, usually bullies and tormentors.
Origin
Jeff was a regular, albeit shy 13-year-old who had just moved into a new neighbourhood with his younger brother, Liu, and their parents. On their first day of school, they were confronted by a trio of bullies who threatened them with knives. In response, Jeff attacked the bullies. Liu ended up taking the blame and was arrested, leaving Jeff guilt-ridden and depressed.
Later, the bullies attacked Jeff again at a party, and this time, he killed one of them in self-defence. This wasn't before he was submerged in bleach and set on fire.
When Jeff woke up, he was at the hospital and his head was wrapped in bandages. When the dressings were taken off, he found out that his face had become disfigured and pale from the burns with a disturbing leathery texture. Jeff claimed to like his new face and laughed hysterically. The doctor believed that this insanity was merely a side effect of the medication and allowed Jeff home.
Later that day Jeeff's mother found him in the bathroom, carving on a permanent smile and burning off his eyelids. Jeff's mother went to her husband to tell him that their son had gone completely mad and needed to be killed. Jeff overheard the conversation and killed both of his parents. He then found his brother and stabbed him to death, telling him to "Go to sleep".
Jeff went on a serial killing rampage, killing those who refuse to sleep at night, using his infamous catchphrase "Go to sleep".
